We are delighted to deliver this online Coach Educational information session as part of the Gymnastics for All (GfA) Display Gymnastics development.

How to develop your clubs display programme.

This online information session is designed to introduce the learner to different areas of Display Gymnastics, giving ideas for advancing your display programme to the next level.

Content:

  • Types of clubs involved in GfA Display
  • The value of GFA Display Gymnastics in clubs
  • How to start
  • Club logistics and developing GFA Display Gymnastics within your club
  • *Club story - Rotate Gymnastics Clubs journey in GfA Display Gymnastics,  involvement with the GI Club Display Mentor Programme, programme development since the Display Mentor Programme and looking to the future.
  • International GfA events and festivals (EuroGym, World Gymnaestrada, and World Gym for Life Challenge?)
  • Club story - Arklow's journey to Eurogym 2024 and now the club has developed since then.

Who Is This Aimed At?

These workshops are for any coach working in or working to develop Display Gymnastics within their clubs.

 

Criteria For Eligibility

  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age (at the time of the workshop). *Any candidate in attendance under the age of 18 must complete an online consent form in order to create an account on LearnUpon and access any online content. This form must be completed before course enrolment. *
  • Must be a current member of Gymnastics Ireland
  • Must have completed a GI recognized coaching course (Level 1 upwards)
  • Must have completed Garda vetting and safeguard training.
