Description
Join Gymnastics Ireland's Education team for a one-hour online session introducing the new Coaching Policy for Cycle 5 (2025–2028) and the new Coaching Transfer Journeys guide. These sessions are for members of Gymnastics Ireland affiliated clubs only.
Choose one session only:
The same session runs six times, and every session covers the same content. Pick the one that suits you best and register for that one only:
- Monday 28th September, 10.00am – 11.00am
- Monday 28th September, 9.00pm – 10.00pm
- Wednesday 30th September, 10.00am – 11.00am
- Wednesday 30th September, 9.00pm – 10.00pm
- Thursday 1st October, 10.00am – 11.00am
- Thursday 1st October, 9.00pm – 10.00pm
All times are Irish time. Places in each session are limited.
What the session covers:
- What's changing in coach education and why
- Modular pathways, recognition of prior learning, and moving between disciplines
- How to use the Transfer Journeys guide to map a coach's route from their current qualification
- Supervision, scope of practice, and CPD
- Open Q&A
Who should attend:
Club staff, head coaches or anyone responsible for coach development in your club.
How to book:
- Booking for yourself: Enrol in this course for free, then choose your session.
- Booking for others in your club: A club contact can book several places for free in one go using the bulk purchase option in the cart. Each attendee then gets their access by email and chooses their own session.
Bookings will be checked against Gymnastics Ireland membership, and any that can't be matched to an affiliated club will be cancelled.

Joining:
Sessions run on Zoom. Your join link will appear in LearnUpon once you've registered for a session. If you can no longer attend, please unregister so your place can go to another club.
